Reports now show what your score would be after your 3 biggest fixes, instead of a score with every fix in place.

The results page, the full report and the PDF now show your score after the 3 fixes worth the most points, worked out by the same scoring engine. Fixing every issue reached 100 on almost every full scan, which is not a plan anyone works to. Three fixes is a week of work, and a re-scan shows whether you got there.

A full scan could be picked up by two of our workers at once, which saved every page twice, and the scan then stopped with "The scoring service was unavailable". Each scan now has one worker at a time. If a full scan of yours failed this way on 26 or 27 October, run it again.

A full scan now scores the pages your sitemap lists, the ones you want found, instead of whatever a link crawl happens to reach.
Full scans read your sitemap first
When your sitemap lists your site, a full scan scores those pages: your homepage and main pages first, then your newest articles. Pages your sitemap lists that no longer exist are skipped instead of scored. Sites without a usable sitemap are crawled through their links as before.

Full-site scans leave out pages marked noindex
A page that tells search engines not to index it is not meant to be found, so it no longer counts toward your full-site score.

If a page carries a noindex tag, a full scan now leaves it out of your site score and says so in the scan timeline. The page you submit is always scored, and a site that is noindex everywhere, such as a staging copy, is scored as it is so the report can tell you why.

AI answer quotes read cleanly

Quotes from AI answers showed formatting marks, such as asterisks around your business name. They now read as plain text in the report, the full report and the PDF.
Mention rate explained on every question

The mention rate counts only questions that do not already name your business, because an answer naming you after the question did proves nothing. Those questions are now marked "Names you · not counted", and the rate says how many questions it covers.
Dashboard numbers match your report

The dashboard and site page now count the same fixes as the report, and Score left to gain matches the report's After fixes figure. Before, they could differ by a fix and a point.
No false rendering warning on large sites
Fixed the same day it was found
A report could warn that rendering was incomplete because a few genuinely short pages, like a calculator page with just a heading and a button, were on a site of hundreds. The warning now appears only when the scanned page or a real share of the site comes back empty.

Monthly plans no longer include AI article rewrites. Every plan is about fixing the pages you already have. If you need a rewrite, it runs on credits from any paid plan (5 credits a rewrite), and new articles are a separate content service.

A lighter, cleaner look
A lighter look runs across the site and the app: the dark navy bands and the green edges on cards are gone, so every page uses the same white cards.

Scans now start only when you click Scan. Before, a finished scan left its scan link in the address bar, so refreshing the page, reopening the tab or restoring your browser ran the same scan again and used another credit. The address now switches to the saved report the moment a scan finishes, so a refresh just reopens the report.

Every written fix is now built from the content on your own pages and arrives as finished text you can paste. Where the wording is a choice, you get three versions to pick from.
Written from your real site
Each fix reads your real site first: your services, your numbers, your names, the way you already describe what you do. The text you get is yours, not a template with blanks. Every number in it is checked against your site before you see it.
Three versions to choose from
Opening lines, headings, intros, descriptions and FAQ answers now come as three complete versions, marked Option 1 of 3. Pick the one that sounds like you and paste it. Schema and code keep one correct form.
The text comes first
Open a fix and the text to paste comes first, then a short note on where it goes and where each fact came from. Less to read, more to paste.
Nothing made up
Nothing is made up: if your site does not state a fact, such as a customer quote or a price, the fix leaves a clearly marked slot for it instead of inventing one. You fill in what only you know.

Every report starts with the site's icon, its business name and its address, then goes straight to the tabs. The upgrade box and the row of extra buttons are gone: Export PDF, Share and Re-test sit next to the name, and the scan details moved to the Scan details tab.

Long fixes could stop part way and fall back to a template with blanks. They now finish, written from your own pages and ready to paste, in about 30 seconds.
Long pages are read to the end
Very large pages were cut short, so footer links such as Privacy and Terms, and testimonials near the bottom, could be missed. The whole page is read now. Re-scan to see the difference.

How is a site score built since Scoring Engine 6.0?
Since Scoring Engine 6.0, a site score is 70% the average of its page scores and 30% the site layer, and a page under 75% coverage shows Insufficient coverage instead of a grade. The glossary defines each term.
What changed in Scoring Engine 6.0?
Scoring Engine 6.0, live since 4 October 2026, keeps the six categories and their weights and changes how evidence is found: checks read schema, then page structure, then narrow language, then an AI second opinion that can only raise a result with a quote verified on the page. Checks that do not fit a page type are left out, every report shows its coverage, and llms.txt is reported but no longer scored; the full rubric is on the GEO Score page.
Are old scores recalculated when the engine changes?
No, old scores are never recalculated when the engine changes. Every report keeps the engine version it was scored on, and the benchmark labels older versions so their numbers are not compared with current ones.
Why can the same site score differently on two engine versions?
Each engine version weighs different signals, so the same page can earn a different number under a newer rubric. The reasoning behind each weight is in the methodology.
How do I see what a change means for my site?
Re-scan the site after a release and compare it with your score history. The free GEO score checker scores any page in about 15 seconds (the average was 11 seconds across 565 production scans from 5 September to 5 October 2026), and a Site Analysis of the whole site usually takes 1 to 3 minutes.
