The GEO Score badge is a small image for your footer that shows your domain's latest GEO Score out of 100 and links to the public GEO Score benchmark. The score comes from a free Quick Scan of your homepage, which takes about 15 seconds, or from a Site Analysis of the whole site on a paid plan, which usually takes 1 to 3 minutes. Every check behind the number is on the GEO Score page.
The compact shield is the small 168 by 20 pixel version of the badge, for places where the full badge is too big; add &style=compact to the image address. Untested is what the badge reads until your domain has a GEO v6.0 scan.
Few sites can show a top score yet. Only 2 of 5,714 sites in the benchmark scored 90 or more as of 24 October 2026, and in the GeoTest Benchmark Report 2026 (12 pages, free to download), 53.1% of 4,999 US business homepages scored below 50. GeoTest's own site scored 93, grade A, across 40 pages in its full scan of 26 October 2026.

Frequently asked questions
The questions below about the GEO Score badge are the ones people ask most, each answered in a few sentences.
How do I get a GeoTest badge?
Scan your site, then copy the embed code from the GEO badge page into your footer. The code is a plain image link, so there is no script to install.
Does the badge update by itself?
Yes, the badge updates by itself and always shows the latest GEO v6.0 score for your domain, from a Site Analysis or a Quick Scan of your homepage, and a new scan shows on it within about 10 minutes.
Who can show a GeoTest badge?
Any site can show a GeoTest badge, whatever its score. It shows the latest score, whatever it is, and reads Untested until the domain has a v6.0 scan.
Where does the badge link to?
The embed code links the badge to the public GEO Score benchmark.
Is there a light and a dark version?
Yes, the badge comes in a light theme for light footers and a dark theme for dark footers, at a fixed 260 by 96 pixels so it never shifts your layout.
Which scan does the badge show?
The badge shows your domain's latest GEO v6.0 score from a Site Analysis of the whole site, which usually takes 1 to 3 minutes, or from a Quick Scan of your homepage, which takes about 15 seconds. A Quick Scan of another page does not change it.
Does the badge slow my site down?
The badge adds one plain SVG image to your page and no script, and the image is cached for 10 minutes, so the request is a small one. Its fixed size means it never moves the content around it.
Is the GEO Score badge free?
Yes, the GEO Score badge is free on every plan, including the free one: any domain with a GEO v6.0 scan can show it. No account is needed to scan: 3 quick scans a day shows your score, and a free account opens the full results. Tailored fixes, the PDF report, site analysis and the AI citation test are on paid plans.
